My brother, Larry, is a photographer. I saw this image on his light table. It is of his two sons. He let me paint it. I loved the juicy colors which was perfect because I was working in an impressonist style at the time, influenced by John Singer Sargent. It hung in our mother's house until she passed away. The challenge was to include colors reflected from the bright objects onto the skin tones and clothes and white objects.
