Serious Fishing

This painting was a challenge to paint the rocks as realistically as I could and the moss was the real challenge! The photo was taken during the same canoe trip as "The Shadow of the Almighty." I enjoyed the humor of the boy fishing with two fishing rods. The truth is that he was holding one with his foot for his dad who went to the boat for something. This painting sold at an art fair.
